The Tiger women's golf team opens the season on a roll! With a solid debut for the 2025 season they won the Desert Invitational at the Lakes Country Club in Palm Desert, CA by 11 strokes over Orange Coast College and 54 shots over 3rd place Modesto JC, and by 59 shots over last year's state champion MT. SAC College. The Tigers shot 328 on day 1 and 327 on day 2 for a 655 total and 1st place finish. The Tigers had 4 of the top 7 players overall in the 36 hole tournament.

The TIgers followed up that win with a dual match victory over Modesto JC at Turlock GCC by 16 strokes. In a windy day and a golf course with a lot of water hazards, the Tigers battled through the tough conditions to pull off the win. Final score was RC 326; MJC 342. The Tigers are now 2-0 on the season and are scheduled to play on Monday Sept 8th for the first Big 8 conference match. The match will be held at Elkhorn CC in Stockton which will be hosted by SJ Delta College.
