The Tiger baseball team rallied strong in the final month of conference play, winning 7 of the last 10 games and ended the season with a 12-12 conference record and 20-20 overall record. Their .500 record was enough to become the 21st ranked team for the NorCal Regional Playoffs.
The 3-team regional format will be played at the #4 seed in Modesto JC. The Tigers will play game one on Thursday, April 30th at 1pm vs. San Mateo who was the 13th seed.
The Regional format is a double elimination tournament, and the brackets can be found on the 3C2A website at: https://3c2asports.org/sports/bsb/Championship
Kudos to the Tigers for qualifying for their 4th consecutive trip to the Regional Playoffs. This year's regional first round will be a re-match vs. San Mateo that narrowly beat the Tigers 2-1. The Tigers have battled all year and showed strong character and grit in the face of adversity for most of the season.
We are all so proud of their determination and never-say-die attitude!
Good Luck and GO TIGERS!
