Despite a combined 63 points from Uriah Carter and Ruben Parks, the Reedley College Tiger men's basketball team dropped a 97-82 decision to the West Hills College Coalinga Falcons on Jan. 23 at Reedley College.
Carter netted 19 of his 34 points in the first half whIle Parks had 17 of his 29 in the final 20 minutes.
But the Tigers could not stop Falcon sophomore forward Ricardo Time, who made 5-of-8 3-point attempts and finished with a game-high 36 points. Three other Falcons scored in double figures, led by Anthony Johnson's 19 points.
Reedley cut a 43-33 halftime deficit to seven with 5:12 left in the contest before the Falcons regained control. West Hills made all 10 of its second half free throws attempts.
Reedley (2-5, 8-11) is back in action at 3 p.m. Saturday as they host Fresno City College in the final game of the first half of Central Valley Conference action.
