Under nice weather conditions, with temperatures in the mid-60's and just a very slight breeze, the Tigers played great team golf, breaking down The Reserve at Spanos Park Golf Course in excellent fashion, shooting a team score of 360 (Even).  The Tigers came in 1^st place on the day by 5 strokes over Sierra College, who played incredibly well and shot a score of 365 (3 Players under Par for the Wolverines). The Tigers definitely played their best golf of the Conference season thus far!  Leading the way for Reedley College was Preston Harris, who tied a Reedley College school record by shooting a 6 under par round of 66, and finished as the Tournament Medalist!!  Preston hit his first tee shot out of bounds to start the day, then proceeded to go -8 the next 17 holes for his round!! Elias Pettersson posted his best round of the season with a 68, finishing in a tie for 2^nd Place.  Preston and Elias are now 1-2 in the Individual Standings in the Big 8 Conference of over 60 players. Chase Bird and Jack Peters both contributed very competitive rounds of 73 for the Tigers. Preston Castleton rounded out the scoring on the afternoon with an 80.  The Tigers made a ton of Birdies (23) and 2 Eagles on the day.  Reedley has now taken over the top spot in the Big 8 standings after 3 tournaments, but know that they must continue to improve as they get closer to the grind of the regular season.  The Tigers' record in conference now stands at 19-2, winning 2 of the 3 conference tournaments to date, and overall the Tigers are 22-2 on the season.  The Tigers hold a 4-point tournament advantage over the Fresno City team.  Reedley has 44 points, and 2^nd place FCC has 40 total points.  Sierra is in 3^rd place with 36 points, only 4 points behind FCC. Next on the schedule is a home tournament at Kings River Golf & Country Club in Kingsburg.  Reedley College is the host for this Big 8 Conference event. The tournament is slated to begin with a Shotgun start at 12:00 noon on Monday in Kingsburg.
